2 Lions Response under Reading Action Program Activities To date, Lions reported over 78,000 RAP activities. Service Hours Reporting clubs dedicated nearly 2.6 million hours to RAP activities. People Served Lions served over 6.9 million people through RAP projects that were reported since July 2012.

3 Reading Action Program - Africa The Ilupeju Diamond Lions Club in Nigeria distributed books to over 50 children in six local schools. The Bushenyi Lions club in Uganda partnered with the Bushenyi Lions club in commemoration of International Literacy Day to organize a Reading Action Program project at the Nyabutobo primary school in Sheema. The Potchefstroom Lions club in South Africa visited a homeless shelter and donated over 200 books to instill Adult literacy and education.

4 Reading Action Program Mexico Three schools in Mexico received 300 new books. Lions promoted literacy through storytelling.
