5 Coverage/ACA Implementation Removing barriers to enrollment in health ACA supported health plans for BMOC. Key Partners: Children’s Defense Fund, California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, California Program on Access to Care

6 Health Homes Ensuring the design of health home and services BMOC receive build on their cultural strengths and community assets and address the systemic barriers to their healthy development, particularly high rates of exposure to trauma and chronic adversity. Key Partners: California Primary Care Association

7 School-Based Health Centers Ensuring the health providers that are most suited to provide a culturally competent and trauma informed health home to BMOC, specifically school-based and community-based clinics, get priority in ACA implementation and resource allocation. Key Partner: California School-Based Health Center Association

8 Health Workforce Expanding the numbers of BMOC that are prepared for and secure good jobs in the health sector; as a result, ensuring greater numbers of health sector professionals have the knowledge and capacity to effectively serve BMOC Key Partners: Latino Coalition for a Healthy California, California Health Workforce Alliance

9 Prevention Expanding resources for prevention strategies in vulnerable neighborhoods; specifically, strengthening violence prevention and strategies that support mental and emotional health. Key Partners: PolicyLink, CPEHN
