Green Concession Practices  Is Calgary (YYC) “greener” than other airports?  Answer – Probably not!  BOMA Go Green – Result of aware & concerned operations staff applying for certification  A great benchmarking checklist for things that many airports do already; ie:  Audits/Surveys/Written Policies/ Documented Plans/Preventative Maintenance & Tenant Communications Programs

7. Green Concession Practices  So why bother?  Cost savings  Valuable marketing tool  Greater environmental awareness with building design & new products  Tax / grant incentives  Stay ahead of pending legislation  The right thing to do!!
