15. Rickets Rickets is a softening of bones in children due to deficiency or impaired metabolism of vitamin D, phosphorus or calcium potentially leading to fractures and deformity.

16. Diagnosis and Treatment Arthroscopy examination into joint using arthroscope with fiber optic lens, most knee injuries are treated with arthroscopy.
