12. PENCILS Range from 8B(soft) to 9H(hard). B=blackness of lead H=hardness of lead F=fine lead Most common for you to use in schools is 2B for sketching and 2H for lightweight drawings.

13. PENS Hollow/tubular nib which allows the ink to flow on contact with the paper Most useful nib sizes are 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5mm

14. TEMPLATES Used to simply draw circles, isometric circles, human body. French curves and flexible curves
