30. What is the Regents’ Scholarship? The Regents’ Scholarship is a scholarship available to all Utah students that complete the Utah Scholars curriculum and scholarship guidelines. The scholarship may be used at any public college or university in the Utah System of Higher Education, as well as at Brigham Young University-Provo, LDS Business College, and Westminster College.

33. + Regents’ Scholarship  The Regents’ Scholarship is modified each year as a result of annual legislative funding and total number of qualified participants.  Funding levels beyond Spring semester 2014 are unknown.  Beginning Fall semester 2013, students are required to enroll in and successfully complete 15 credit hours and earn a 3.3 semester GPA each semester they receive the scholarship renewable up to four semesters.  Students apply by February 1 st of their senior year.  A deferment application is used by a student that has applied for the scholarship, but will not attend college the Fall semester after high school.  Student must apply for a deferment in order to put the scholarship “on hold”.
