Control the exposure using the histogram Crop to correct Rule of Thirds issues Do you keep the color or go black & white? Adjust color to taste, including balance in Raw Adjust highlights and shadows for more detail Clean up unwanted artifacts Use vignette to increase focus on the subject

Image Adjustments – Levels and/or Curves for exposure control Crop tool for cropping Image – Adjustments for b&w and shadows/highlights Clean up with Clone Stamp Tool Vignette is more complicated Not on a menu and no tool Do it using layer adjustment and marquee or with distorted lens correction

Select the Marquee Tool – add feathering (250 pixels) Draw a selection near the corners Reverse the selection: Select > Inverse Add a Levels Adjustment Layer: Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels Darken the image by adjusting the histogram In the Layers Panel, reduce the opacity of the vignette Adjustment Layer to taste Thanks Darrel Priebe – www.dazzlingphotography.com
