14 “DUES” TALK (SHOW ME THE MONEY) Why have them? Most clubs must rent their meeting locations (we don’t) Most clubs buy Webspace (we don’t) Most clubs provide trophies and awards (we don’t … yet!) What would we need money for? USAG-J requires liability insurance if conducting meetings in DPW buildings Organizations operating on installations must be officially bonded for tax purposes Will allow Club the right to raise funds and open Bank account on base if needed Dues must return to assist the club, otherwise loss of non-profit status
