Stage is Set First phase in place Lodi Unified has Board approved Mission/Values/Vision/Goals – Reconfirm/revise Education Destination Need a plan to get there

Set Direction Refocus District on previously established goals (or any revisions) Involve staff and community (including students) in plans to address goals – Community forums – Student leadership – Website – E-mail

How To Get There Develop strategies to meet vision and goals based on staff/community input Present strategies to board Form Action Teams around each strategy – Volunteers from staff/community – Develop specific plans to address strategy – Include time line, budget, monitoring

Board Review of Plans Action Teams present plans to Board Board input Board approval Communication of plan – staff/community Implementation Yearly Review

Possible Timeline September – November – Staff/community input December - January – Strategies presented to Board – Action Teams formed February – May – Action Teams work on plans June – Plans presented to Board
