a paragraph From Main Street, turn right on Kingfisher Drive just before the bridge. Continue along 89 th Street past Safari Beach Resort, onto Oleander, Lobelia and Jasmine to Haynes Point Provincial Park. From there make your way north to 62 nd Avenue, either on Highway 97 or on residential streets and head up towards the high school. Before you reach the school you’ll see the Osoyoos Canal Walkway trail on the right. This flat gravel surfaced trail follows the old irrigation canal skirting through orchards and desert vegetation. North of Highway 3 take the path to the right around the airport, emerging close to the Osoyoos Desert Centre. Return south along Highway 97, turning left at the sign for Sun Fresh Co-op Growers onto 134 th Avenue and then 87 th Street. This road rolls through scenic orchards back to downtown Osoyoos. - courtesy of Osoyoos Times
