What is the difference between the representations of the same image? Why would someone choose to darken the picture of the person? What is the message to you, the reader? SHOULD a photographer follow a set of ethical standards? If so, what should those be?

Should photos be changed or cropped? Under what circumstances might cropping be appropriate or necessary? What are some concerns about cropping too much content from a photograph?

Why would we do this in a film class? What is the point?
