Advocacy Principles FOOD: WSCAH believes in access to healthy food for all people. We believe that the opposite of hunger is not fullness, but health. INCOME: WSCAH believes that the most dignified and empowering solution to hunger is income generation. With a living wage job or living benefit our customers will become self-sufficient and phase out of the emergency food system. HOUSING: WSCAH believes that adequate housing is a human necessity, and no person should be forced to choose between food and shelter. HEALTH CARE: WSCAH believes that health care is a human right, not a privilege. Prevention of illness is the primary goal both because it will prevent human suffering and be fiscally responsible in the long term.
