CHECK YOURSELF Mostly A: You definitely care about the environment. You think about it when you make every day decisions. If more people in the world were as good as you, the planet would have fewer problems. Mostly B: You care about the environment and you have good habits, which help save it. However, there are probably a few other things you could do. Mostly C: You do not worry about the environment at all! You think, pollution is someone else’s problem, not yours. You think recycling and saving resources are too time-consuming

HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR PLANET A SAFER PLACE FOR ANIMALS? A__ Another solution is to promote education about endangered species. If people are aware of the problem, then they will buy fewer products made of materials such ivory or fur. B__ In conclusion, there are many ways to make our world a better place for animals. We all need to do whatever we can. As Malcolm Bradbury said: “If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem”. C__ Is our planet a safe place for animals? Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like it. Thousands of species have become extinct and many more are now endangered. We need to do something fast before it is too late for them. D__ Firstly, measures need to be taken to protect our wildlife. The destruction of threatened animals habitats should be illegal, with long prison sentences for people who break these laws. This would protect animals and the environments they live in. E__ Finally, we should create more national parks and conversation areas. This would allow animals to live and breed safely in their natural habitats. As a result, their numbers would increase and species would not die out.

Here’s what I do about recycling. I put all my newspapers, magazines, old envelopes – in fact, all my paper – to one side, and recycle it, along with the bottles that become empty during the week. I take my printer cartridges to the shop round the corner, where they collect them. It’s not too much, I know, but I think every little thing counts. And what about you?
