The bluish, stormy gas planet Neptune, is the faraway eight planet in our solar system, from our burning ball of gas sun. If you want to learn more about Neptune, then listen to this very detailed story!

To start with, totally not despicable, Neptune is five times the size as earth. Regarding to moons, Neptune’s moon Triton, has moons of its own. Due to, Triton’s petite moons, and most famous are Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Galatea, Larissa and Proteus. The eighth moon hasn’t yet been named.

Additionally, a Neptune day is equivalent to 16.1 hours on earth! One time around the sun for the conclusive Neptune, is every 165 earth years! The blue planet – Neptune, will become the closet to the tremendously hot sun, then Pluto for about 200 solid earth years!

In addition, the strong, bluish methane gas gives Neptune it’s greatly tremendous color. It was discovered in 1846! The great Dark Spot is a storm on Neptune like Jupiter, as well as the well – ringed Saturn! Neptune is named after the Greek god of the sea.
