A bride (wife) and groom (husband) are two separate people that become united together in the covenant of marriage. Sexual Intercourse is a physical example of what happens spiritually in marriage. A bride and groom give up their individual lives to get married In the same way, Jesus gave up his life for us, the Church

The Covenant with Noah God’s covenant with Noah is also with all humankind and creation. “Never again shall all bodily creatures be destroyed by the waters of a flood” (Genesis 9:11) God commits to saving humanity by a different way than destroying all sinners.
