2 Goals: To spread awareness about strategies on campus To establish a sustainable political network to help galvanize our portfolio into action Political Advocacy 2013-2014 Advocacy Strategy: Ensuring a smooth transition of CIDA to Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and formulating a vision for Canada’s international aid. Implementing policy requiring international mining companies based in Canada to be transparent with regards to their transactions in Africa.

3 Political Advocacy 2013-2014 Events/Activities: Member Learning Events Speaker Series Meeting with MPPs and MPs Letter Writing Newspaper Articles Meeting with Political groups on Campus (e.g. U of T Liberals, Conservatives) How YOU can be Involved: Advertising/marketing for events MPP/MP Liaison News Correspondent(s) Political Groups Liaison

4 Global Engineering Students Faculty Vision - Together, we would like to foster a strong sense of social responsibility within the engineering faculty and help students realize their potential to positively impact the world. Curriculum Enrichment Outreach Volunteers Chapters

5 Fair Trade EWB U of T Vision U of T Fair Trade strives to see the student body as knowledgeable in ethical products and their purposes. We promote compassionate consumption. Fair Trade Campus working group Lots of opportunities to organize and run campaigns and outreach events Collaborate with different organizations Canada wide!
