10 Policy Matters EU focus W3C involved in DSM, DA, EIF, etc. EC MSP + Rolling Plan Past joint work with ETSI, coord ESOs Internet Governance NMI/GIPO Net and Platform Neutrality Standardization funding, mandate ? Bottom-up or top-down approach ?

11 Conclusions W3C is a global community started technical only, now societal, MSH France and EU play a big role since the beginning, WAI, SemWeb EC support is vital, but going through R&D calls is not fair for a major SDO Risky competition for the OWP: native mobile OS, proprietary IoT APIs, social walled gardens)
