5 To find a find a student’s eSIS number use this query.

6 Enter the information you know and click the search button.

7 To find the student’s record, enter the student’s eSIS number, press F8,

8 To print a registration form, bring up the student’s record, press print.

9 Check Student Verification Form and then press printer icon.

10 A student who is receiving ESL, is being monitored or has refused service will have a Yellow Alert.

11 When you click the Yellow Alert, it will identify the reason for the alert.

14 This page will give you the parent/guardian information. ESIS has an English default. If the parent/guardian speaks a language other than English, the language field MUST be changed and the box “Speaks English” must be unchecked. Phone Number Use scroll bar for second emergency contact

15 This page shows you the student’s country of birth—it defaults to USA

16 This is where the information from the Home Language Survey is entered. When a language other than English is selected, eSIS populates the questions regarding interpretation and translation.

17 LEP Entry date is stored on this page. This date does not change and is needed on many ESL forms (exit, promotion, etc.).

19 This is how you get to the page that shows you student test scores.

20 The scroll bar on the right allows you to see all of the test scores. The scores are for the test that is highlighted in blue. If you select “Date” eSIS will sort test scores by date so you can see the most recent (you can sort by Test Name & Grade also). Scroll bar Date

21 Here are ELPA scores. A composite 5 indicates a student may be Exited (4=Early Advanced, 3=Intermediate, 2=Early Intermediate, 1=Beginner).
