3 Admissions Academic First or good upper second class honours degree in Psychology providing GBC (BPS) Demonstrated interest in, and commitment to, mental health care Significant engagement in caregiving activity Relevant voluntary or paid work experience Application process Application form (Deadline January 31st 2015) Interview at Warwick (w/c 16th March, 2015)

PS906: Research Design and Data Collection 15 CATS 2 worksheets (16.5% each) Class test (67%) PS907: Advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis 3 exercises (33% each) PS910: Clinical Psychology in Adult Mental Health Take-home exam in Jan (100%) PS911: Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Take-home exam in Dec (100%) PS914: Case Study Seminar 30 CATS 2 case analyses (50% each) PS915: Placement and Project 90 CATS 5,000 word literature review 5,000 word project report

5 Degree Requirements 50% based on taught modules:
PS906, PS907, PS910, PS911: 8.33% each PS914: 16.67% 50% based on placement & project Overall: 70%-100%: Distinction 60%-69%: Merit 50%-59%: Pass 0%-49%: Fail At least 50% in both taught modules and project will be required to pass Distinctions will normally be awarded where marks in taught modules and project are 70% or above Merit will normally be awarded where marks in taught modules and project are at least 60%

6 NHS Placement 6-month contract Hon Assistant Psychologist Supervision
January – June 3 full days a week, usually MON-WED Supervision Clinician supervision: on location Academic supervision: from course staff Required outputs Literature review (5,000 words) Service evaluation/audit project (5,000 words)
