National Entreprenuership Programme What does entrepreneurship mean to us? Entrepreneurship is a dynamic and social process, where individuals, privately or in cooperation, identify possibilities and utilise them to transform ideas into practical and goal-oriented activities in a social, cultural or economic context.

National Entreprenuership Programme Our Mission: Introduce an entrepreneurship mindset amongst all young people Increase the number of start-ups Improve competence among study and career counsellors & business advisors Four main areas of action: - Primary & secondary education and postsecondary education - University - Adult entrepreneurship education - Adequate competence among business advisors & study and career counsellors - Promoting an entrepreneurship mentality amongst students

Memorandum of Understanding – Parliamentary Secretariat and MCAST Vocational Courses Whereas the Secretariat is desirous of promoting Entrepreneurship Education and Learning within schools and colleges (at primary, secondary and post-secondary school levels) as according to the letter circular DCM 17/2005 issued on the 11th February 2005 by the Department of Curriculum Management. INTRODUCING ENTREPRENERUSHIP AT MCAST Entrepreneurship is to be an integrated cross-curricular subject introduced throughout all courses offered by MCAST. The MCAST Award in Enterprise, Leadership and Social Awareness may be the most appropriate mechanism for the delivery of broader concepts of entrepreneurship.
