3. Present perfect tense e.g. (a) Charlie is eating the sandwich.
 We use the present perfect tense to talk about completed actions.
e.g. (a) Charlie is eating the sandwich.
(b) Charlie has eaten the sandwich.

4. Present perfect tense   I have washed the dishes yesterday. OR
 We use the present perfect tense when we do not know the time of an action.
 We do not usually use these phrases with the present perfect tense (e.g. yesterday, last week, in 1999, on Monday).  
I have washed the dishes yesterday.
 I washed the dishes yesterday. OR
