Each student has their own dedicated network access. When you arrive at CWU, just plug your computer into the network (bring your own CAT-5/Ethernet Cable) and follow the instructions. Standard Service (1.5 Mbs Connection Speed, 3 Gig usage/day) … no cost Premium Service (3.0 Mbs Connection Speed, 6 Gig usage/day) … for $15/month Computers will be checked for security patches, anti-virus protection, etc. Violators go to “Cyber-Jail”! Telephone Service: – Single phone line per room/suite. This line is “hot” and at no cost. Bring a phone, plug it in, and make all the local calls you want. We recommend getting a calling card for long distance calls. – Wendell Hill Hall and Barto Hall … Telephone line can be converted to an additional data line (no cost) if all occupants of the room agree and sign! – Less than 50% of CWU Residential Rooms use a land-line!
