Global Partnerships lead to successful Local Solutions
Local and national eHealth implementation must occur in a global context and vice versa, i.e. from a “Glocal” perspective The cheap, widely available ICT and Internet supports the shift from local to global healthcare. The internet permits the formation of worldwide networks of facilities with common features. Through these networks, local care facilities have access to global expertise that improves their access, quality and safety. This is glocal health care The goal of glocal health care is a system which is open, high quality and will not waste of global or local resources Global Partnerships lead to successful Local Solutions SFM'14: Telemedicine: Opportunities, Applications, Prospects IX, Saratov, Russia
