3. Our Nation is Italy, it’s like a big boot. In Italy there are 20 regions, we live in Tuscany, near the city of Florence (about 30 km).

4. Florence is very famous for its monuments. 4

5. We live in the countryside. In our area there are green hills and the Arno river

6. Our school is in Rignano sull’Arno, a small village, with about 3200 inhabitants.

7. Our school has the name of a very important ancient writer: Dante Alighieri, the father of Italian language.

8. In Italy, primary school consists of 5 years, from 1st to 5th, with children from 6 to 11 years old. In our school there are 11 classes, 23 teachers, about 260 children.

9. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we stay at school from 8,30 a.m. to 16,30 p. m. On Tuesday and Thursday from 8,30 a.m. to 12,30 p.m.

10. The school has got a big garden, where we play.

11. Let’s enter in our school! In the hall there is a big painting on the wall.

12. This is our class: 2nd A. We are 7 years old.

13. We are 16 pupils: 12 males and 4 females. Here we are working in our classroom.

14. We study Italian, Math, English, History, Geography, Science, Art, P. E., ICT, Music and Catholic Religion.

15. Besides the classrooms, in our school there is also the library, where we can read and borrow the books.

16. In the computer room, we can write stories, send e-mail, use learning games.

17. In the canteen we have lunch.
