June, 13 20092 Housing association De Woonplaats –Real Estate company. We have to make profit. We don’t receive government grants and since 2008 we are no longer exempted from taxes –Private Companies with public task and the obligation to invest capital for targets set by a legal framework –Our main activity is providing accommodation to people with low income and a weak position on the housing market. We also invest in all kinds of “social” real estate (schools, crèches, care centres etc.)
