You were assigned a specific age (infant, toddler, preschool) and have to create a developmental milestones (4: physical, intellectual, emotional, social) Babysitting Project- Create a developmentally appropriate activity to do with the children. 7. CHILD CENTER OBSERVATIONS Tomorrow we are going to be observing the childcare centers for our child development unit. Going in groups of 10 15 minutes rotations Taking notes on ages and what you notice in childcare center

OBSERVATIONS  Each age group 15 minute rotations  WASH HANDS upon entering each room!!  Not there to be with your friends  No gum, food, drink, etc.  Appropriate clothing, Dress code  KNOW YOUR DAY, TIMES, and ROTATION!  Stay on schedule!!  Complete your paperwork  Blend in as much as possible, can talk and interact with the kids but ASK first!!  Appropriate language  Confidentiality and Reporting  Can ask questions if you have them  No feeding, changing/potty, etc.
