2. Creek Indians
The Creek Indians were one of the major Indian groups in Okalahoma. They had a whole county named after them. There is a thing in Okalahoma the if you could prove that you were some how related to an Indian group you could go to college for free in Okalahoma.

3. Population, Religion, and Ethnicity
There are about 50,000 Creek citizens left in the world.
They really had no specific religion.
The race is Native Indian.

4. Language Muskogean In the Creek Indian Language
Alabama means "tribal town".
Seminole means "run-away".
Sasakwa means "goose".
Eto means "tree".
Opelwv means "swamp".
Chattahoochee means "picture rocks".
Chattanooga means "rock coming to a point".
Opelika means "big swamp".
Chickamauga means "dwelling place of the Chief".
Tuskegee means "warrior".
Winnipeg means "muddy waters". 
Wetumpka means "rumbling waters".
Weleetka means "running water".
Cherokee, comes from the Creek word "Chelokee"  means "People of a different speech".

5. Boarders
I chose this area because this is where they settled after the European Explorers forced them away from their original home land, Georgia.

6. Flag The symbol on the top left is the Creek Seal.
The photo on the top right is called the Etowah Mounds, it is believed to be made by their ancestors.
The photo on the bottom left is the Creek Indians first and was there best leader (Chief McIntosh).
The coins on the bottom right let the Creek people know that they are still recognized.

7. Government They have a confederate state.
With this type of government they would have more power by themselves then the whole state would.

8. Nations Upper Creeks - Occupied Central to South Alabama.
Lower Creeks - Occupied South Georgia and North Florida.
Seminole -" Runaway" Creeks, Apalachees & Afro- American slaves who relocated to South Florida.

9. History
There was a Creek War. The fight was between all the Creek Nations.
About half of there population died during the war.

10. History Cont. The Creek Indians were part of the American Revolution.
They were neutral trough out the whole War

11. Disease
The Creek Indians are originally from Georgia. They were forced away by the Europeans and their diseases.
They were forced to migrate to Oklahoma, which is there origin now.

13. Problems They have problems with a gambling and drinking.
The gambling makes their economic structure diminish.
The drinking then kills off their population.
