Part 2: Graphing Data Collected Graphs should have all of the following to be considered complete Title : center of the graph bold and underlined X & Y headings: Must be capitalized and in the center of each line Intervals : must be even and neatly written Lines on bars and connection lines: Must be clean and straight. Please use a ruler when completing these tasks Coloring bars: must be fully colored and must have a different color for each state,wage or industry. Plot points: must be clear Legend: must be clearly coded and labeled in the top right hand side of the needs to have a black border to differentiate the legend from the graph.

Display Board Details Display boards are to be a Tri-Fold Board. They will be displayed flat on a wall. This will give you ample space to display all the information needed to make a great board. Be colorful, informative, and creative Can find tri-fold boards at Wal-Mart or Target Information that is needed to make an award winning board: Title: Your Occupation Should be at the top of the board Should be big enough to be seen from 5 feet away Should stand out and grab the attention of the viewer

Display Board Details Continued Headings: Your Research Should be able to be seen clearly from 3 feet away Should stand our to draw attention to the information being presented Information : Your Research Make sure all research is compete in your own words and is not plagiarized Must be legible and able to be seen from 2 feet. away Graphs and Tables: Your Research Must be in color Must be computer generated Grammar / Spelling Make sure to proof read all of your materials prior to gluing them to the board Images Must be relevant to your occupation Must have a caption to detail the images relevance
