What is heidi? Web-based management information tool Ability to create reports and charts from a broad range of data about HE Subscription service, available to HEI's and approved stakeholders heidi is run by HESA as a self-funding, not-for- profit service

Background to heidi Developed in partnership with The University of Leeds, with funding from LGM fund and funding councils Aimed to reduce burden on HEI’s by providing access to a wide variety of HE data in one place System went live during April 2007 88% of HEI's currently subscribe

What HESA data is included? Student Staff Destination of leavers Finance Key Financial Indicators HE-BCI Parts A and B Student Staff Ratios Performance Indicators HEMS (higher education management statistics) … most data covering period 2001/02 to 2009/10
