At the doctor´s GP – general practitioner Surgery time Waiting room A nurse prepares our medical record We are invited to the consulting room Insurance card is necessary Strip to the waist He listens to our lungs and heart Checks the blood pressure and feels the pulse Preventive medical and dental check-ups

The doctor diagnoses the case and prescribes some medicine, drops or ointment He also gives us some therapy We stay in bed and cure properly We have to take a rest to avoid some aftereffects

We have the right to choose a doctor At present there are private and state health facilities Madical care is provided to our citizens from birth to death Very good prenatal care

Vaccinations Due to vaccinations many illnesses have disappeared or are not fatal anymore: Smallpox TB Diphteria Tetanus Whooping cough Polio
