15 Statistics Department (ESTA) Regional database & dissemination AfDB, AU and UNECA are working together to develop a common database and a Statistical Yearbook The 1st edition was published in April 2009 Work on the 2 nd edition will start soon The contribution of NSOs is important to ensure country ownership Questionnaires will be sent to countries for completion and a data validation workshop will be organised
