The LINCS Special Collections are one-stop electronic gateways to specialized information on high-quality literacy practices and materials for use in adult education and literacy programs. LINCS Special Collections are built around specific content areas, specific settings or contexts, and professional development topics.

Our focus is on materials that are free and available for immediate download. Student/Learner –These are materials that learners can use on their own or with an instructor’s help. There are six categories to help learners find exactly what they’re looking for. Manager/Administrator –These are materials to help administrators with human resource, organizational development, and funding issues.

Matthew Scelza, Project Director, California Literacy, Inc. 10 Mini-Grants We offer mini-grants of $500 for exemplary ESL projects or websites. Completed projects and new proposals are eligible for funding. Visit the site in Fall 2003 for information about the 2004 competition.
