3. Adult snook feed on fish and large crustaceans. Juvenile snook live in low salinity habitats with physical structures. They use this for mangroves or pilings where small crabs and shrimp hang around so they can feed.

4. They are protandric hermaphrodites which means they can turn into females when they get so large. So they have a strong reproduction. Snook lay eggs After hatching the larvae hang around swamps, mangroves for the first 10-18 months The next part of their life they are young juveniles that hang around low salinity areas until they are sexually mature.
