19. LESSONS: 1.For some students the road is clear and straight, but for many (most) it is not (and both are ok)

21. 6 tips for parents and 4 to tell your students 1.Land the helicopter. Or at least hover over someone else. 2.Expect set backs. College is about trying things: majors, jobs, identities, partners. They won’t all work. That’s ok. 3.Trust your kids. You raised them well. They’ll figure it out.

22. 4.Trust the University. Resources; advisers; faculty. Sometimes we will say no: We’re usually right. 5.Embrace the Change. They will be different.
