To Parent’s Night at St. Peter’s Primary School. *Healthy and Happy! *Juicy and Fruity! *It’s all about health!

A Healthy School In St. Peter’s Primary School, we place emphasis on working towards a healthy lifestyle. We do this by: Encouraging our children to eat a healthy breakfast before coming to school. Discussing what constitutes a healthy breakfast. Having healthy snacks available at all times on the tuck shop trolley.

Our School Helps us to keep Healthy!  Over the years, our school has made many changes to encourage us to make the right choices in life. Here are just some of them: Dinner hall – Hungry for Success Campaign. Healthy tuck – drinks and snacks. Health days. Providing us with fruit three times a week. Playground games. Active schools activities and after school sports clubs.

Healthy Snacks!

Unhealthy Snacks:  Although it is important to have a little sugar and fat in our diets, we must try not to eat too many unhealthy things for our snacks and lunches. Unhealthy snacks include: Chocolate Bars. Fizzy Drinks. Ice lollies. Crisps. Sweeties. What they can do to our body: They can make us gain weight. Our teeth can become rotten. Unhealthy snacks can make you feel ill.
