7 CAT Jr. 2.0 Name – now that both CAT and CAT Jr. are on new platform we will be dropping the “2.0” after Fall startup. CAT Jr. elements were delivered to your servers last week. CAT Jr. is up and running now –make sure weblinks on district page are correct 7

9 CAT Jr. Customize CAT Jr. building settings (cont.) Item types defaults to four - IF found in that building’s holdings - Biography, Easy, Fiction, Nonfiction. List can be further customized. The sort_by was set to default –PBYR (New to old) but can be modified. Check for Reading program tests – if you change it in CAT, it will change in CAT Jr. Voilà! CAT Jr. is ready to go! 9

Annual contract for on-going authority control updates for new records added to CRC

51 Authority Control Project New authority records will replace old outdated authorities in every instance statewide. Will implement procedures for on-going authority control so all instances receive new/updated authority records periodically throughout the year for authority changes that may occur. Additional authority control processes in JWF will eventually be implemented for local catalogs.

Icon to left of library name displays icon library has selected to represent itself. Plus icon at right will add library to personal list of libraries. Use “My” button at top of view, to display personalized list of libraries.
