15  Employer & RTO maintain regular contact  Training Plan updated  Competencies achieved signed off & entered on eBOS  Days on-the-job monitored  Formal Training monitored  Duty of Care procedures followed

16 NSW DEC - Duty of Care responsibilities include:  minimising potential risk to students in SBATs in relation to child protection, workplace safety and supervision in the workplace  monitoring the progress, safety and welfare of students in SBATs  using the notifications process to ensure follow-up of incidents concerning school based apprentices or trainees

17 Assist students to:  Prepare a resume  Prepare job applications  Find an employer  Practice interview techniques Assist employers to:  Understand the SBAT program  Find students  Run interviews  Conduct work experience  Contact AAC

18 Assist schools to:  Complete forms Assist AAC to:  Organise sign-up meeting Mentor students for the duration of the contract Support parent/carer Support employer Provide aspiration building activities
