2 You You are an important person in your child’s learning. Please don’t underestimate the power of us working together as a team for your child to reach their highest potential.

3 Our Goals To give your child the academic and social skills needed to progress to middle school. To provide a supportive and fun classroom environment. To help your child make new friends and discover new interests. To help your child read at their grade level and beyond.

4 Attendance School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students are tardy if they are not in their classroom by 8:10 a.m. Three tardies = 1 absence. The school day ends at 3:25 p.m. The school doors will open at 7:40 a.m. They may go to the cafeteria and eat breakfast or wait in the big gym. If your child is unable to attend school, please call the office 817-547-3100. Send a written doctors note with your child when your child comes back to school to avoid an unexcused absence.
