August 14, 2015  Sit in the seat you sat in yesterday.  Today we are going to be learning about classroom procedures and jobs.  You will know you have it if you can  Follow classroom procedures correctly  turn in your complete syllabus/newsletter form in the correct period basket.  Do your classroom job correctly and with ease.  Read information you see around the room.  Sit quietly until given additional instructions.

2. Classroom procedures  Entering and exiting the classroom  Silent hallway procedures  Emergency Drills  Fire, tornado, lock down  Classroom Quiet Signal & Noise Level  How to get the teacher’s attention/ ask a question  What happens when another adult enters the room

3. Classroom procedures  Leaving during the class period  Getting water from water fountain  How to ask to go to the bathroom  Where to find tissue, the pencil sharpener, and passes  Pencil sharpening

4.  How to turn in materials/work  How and when to write down homework  Where to turn in homework  If you are absent Classroom procedures

5.  Class and school rules- code of conduct and agenda  Do not talk when adult is talking to the class.  Consequences for behavior- BEHAVIOR FORM  Earning class points/ individual points  Procedures for water bottles and healthy snacks.

6. Classroom JOBS  What are they?  What are you supposed to do?  When are you to do it?
