Focus is on meeting expectations for controlling Voice, Body, & Brain Students receive daily “pay” for meeting expectations Pay can be lowered if expectations are not met Can receive bonuses for exceeding expectations even if daily pay has been reduced Money can be spent on special privileges once a week Parents will only be notified if students exceed expectations or are at the lowest tier of the behavior chart Expectations

One day a week will be 30 min. inside recess for positive behavior incentive. 11:35-12:10ResourceA-Technology B-P.E. C-Library D-Music Schedule available on calendar in red folder 12:10-12:25Share TimeShare writing, class meetings, etc. 12:30-1:00LunchNote the late lunch, snacks are imperative 1:00-2:25MathTime is allowed for science experiments 2:30Dismissal BeginsStudents will be in designated areas

Morning Arrival 7:50-8:10 Students may enter the campus, but will stay in the cafeteria 7:50-8:10 Car riders will enter through the cafeteria doors facing the parking lot 7:50-8:10 Walkers & bike riders will enter near the bus loop or through the back gate and go to the cafeteria for dismissal 8:10 Front gate will open and all students will begin walking to their classes from this point on August 17 th -21 st all parents entering the campus between 7:50 and 8:10 will wait in the cafeteria and then can walk with their child to class when the class is dismissed After students are dismissed, Parents will need an orange Parent Pass to walk to class with their child Starting on August 24 th – Parents who wish to walk children to the classroom will need to obtain a Parent Pass from the front office

To be sent home every interim and report card date Please review, sign, and return as soon as possible Contains reading & writing assessments on the right side Contains math assessments on the left side Contains a detailed report about your child at report card time in addition to any individual progress reports your child receives with interims and report cards

I try to respond to phone calls, e-mails, and communication log notes promptly. E-mails are best for immediate responses. Website is a good source for information & cute photos (if you sign a photo release form) Face-to-face conferences in October & April if there are no concerns. Phone or face-to-face conference may be requested at any time if there are concerns Conference times are very flexible. I will make myself available after hours if needed for working parents. Communication
