4. PRESENT SCENARIO Difficult for the rivers to flow. Rising number of slum settlements on these river banks Rivers have become backyard dumpsters.

5. Justice would only be done if these river fronts could be revived back to their old glory by a novel redevelopment model that would bring about a sense of collective ownership and involvement.
