About Adobe: Adobe Systems Incorporated (pronounced A – DOE – BEE) is an American computer software company which has been historically focused upon the creation of multimedia and creativity software products that are sold worldwide. They were founded in 1982 at Mountain View, California by ‘John E. Warnock’ and ‘Charles M. Geschke’ who are the current Co-Chairmen of the Board. Primarily made software for Apple products until they made a partnership with Microsoft. In December 2005 Adobe acquired it’s former competitor ‘Macromedia’ which allowed them to inherit newer software products and platforms such as ‘Coldfusion’, ‘Dreamweaver’, ‘Flash’ and ‘Flex’ to its product portfolio. As of the end of last year (December 2009) Adobe had a Revenue of $2.95 Billion, Net Income (Profits) of $387 Million with ~8660 active employees working for them.
