5. Establishing an Accurate Perception Perception is how you (or other people) see things. An accurate perception is a tool that helps us learn about ourselves, our objectives, and other people.

Perception Perception of Audience Audience won’t see many of your nervous ticks, etc… Perception of the Speech Your audience sees you speaking as an opportunity for you to share your ideas, opinions, and facts. Speaking is not necessarily putting on a show. Don’t make the assignment more difficult than it needs to be.
