Behavior ought to be appropriate for the situation, but… 1- The core of who you are should never change 2- For a Believer, Christ should impact every other sphere of influence in your life 3- For a Disciple, Christ should have dominion over all of your life

The effects of compartmentalization: - Nagging guilt - Secret life - Lies - Broken relationships - Devastated witness

The church culture in Houston, Tx taught me hypocrisy…

Point: Compartmentalization is an integrity problem and Segregationmeansseparation

How do we resolve it? How do we fix this in our own lives?

Nehemiah's People are Compartmentalized - Wall looks great

Nehemiah's People are Compartmentalized - Wall looks great - People haven't changed - Wall is a lie that will crumble Unless…

Now when the wall had been built and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed… Job done… Karaoke Time!

But… Compartmentalization is an integrity problem and Segregationmeansseparation = wall will crumble…

I gave my brother Hanani and Hananiah the governor of the castle charge over Jerusalem, for he was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many. Position should never be Aptitude-Only

And I said to them, "Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot. And while they are still standing guard, let them shut and bar the doors…

Appoint guards from among the inhabitants of Jerusalem, some at their guard posts and some in front of their own homes." The city was wide and large, but the people within it were few, and no houses had been rebuilt.

Then my God put it into my heart to assemble the nobles and the officials and the people to be enrolled by genealogy. And I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found written in it…

Priest- People of God Prophet- Truth of God King- Structure of God

Priest- People of God You need to give all of your life to God Prophet- Truth of God Stop it, hypocrite. Repent! King- Structure of God Keep a journal and tabulate faithfulness

Now some of the heads of fathers’ houses gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury 1,000 darics of gold, 50 basins, 30 priests’ garments and 500 minas of silver.

And some of the heads of fathers’ houses gave into the treasury of the work 20,000 darics of gold and 2,200 minas of silver. And what the rest of the people gave was 20,000 darics of gold, 2,000 minas of silver, and 67 priests’ garments.

Compartmentalization is a integrity problem and Segregationmeansseparation It's not a money issue, It's a heart issue The heart always follows the money…

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet? No Word for 141 years…

Word informs, conforms, transforms Changes us in every area Destroys Compartmentalization And Segregation

What part of your life Does God's Word not speak to? Explicitly or Implicitly

And when the seventh month had come, the people of Israel were in their towns. And all the people gathered as one man into the square before the Water Gate.

And they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses that the LORD had commanded Israel. Pentateuch

So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could understand what they heard, on the first day of the seventh month. So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could understand what they heard, on the first day of the seventh month.

And he read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand.

And the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law. And Ezra the scribe stood on a wooden platform that they had made for the purpose.

And beside him stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah on his right hand, and Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam on his left hand. And beside him stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah on his right hand, and Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam on his left hand.

And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was above all the people, and as he opened it all the people stood

And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people answered, "Amen, Amen," lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

God's Spirit moves God's people

God's Spirit moves God's people If I've never been moved by His Spirit I don't know him

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law, while the people remained in their places.

They read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading.

The beginning of Integrity Spiritual Renewal bringing Wholeness Rather than fragmentation resulting in Compartmentalization and Segregation

Compartmentalization is an integrity problem God's People in God's City but we don't really follow God

Segregationmeansseparation God is not actually with us Except during Holy Days Sound familiar?

What about us?

God responds to sin 2 Ways: Hell and The violent torture and Death of Jesus

Cure for compartmentalization Figure out if I actually know Jesus Can I do this and it doesn't bother me at all?

If my faith doesn't impact every area of my life… I don't have it

Cure for Segregation Integrity based on God's Word What does the scripture say about this?

If I have to change who I am To be in Church Do I need to change my behavior? Or my view of Church?

God forbid That I would be 3 People

Integrity brings Peace Desegregation means Presence

What needs to change? Will I?
