6. What Is Get Real! Praise? o Get Real! Praise – that’s when we get together weekly for a time of encouragement, edification and praise to our Lord. You will receive a message that is relevant and useful in your everyday life. o The message will last 30 minutes, or less. o Bring your kids. We will equip you so you can equip your kids, especially our FFF devotions & Weekly Downloads provided by The FBC@Oakboro! o We don’t split up the FAMILY @ FBC!

7. FFF – Fantastic Family Fun! {Weekly Devotional}  The Story  The Meaning of the Story  I will begin the weekly family devotion with an actual story out of the Bible. God preserved these real-life happenings for a reason.  I want you and your kids to know WHY God chose to tell us these stories and HOW to discover the meaning. Every story has a meaning that impacts you today. How do we find the meanings? 1. I will unwrap the historical context (what happened). 2. I will explain the doctrinal meaning (There is only one overriding meaning). 3. I will explain the devotional meaning (how it applies to you…today).

8. R.E.C.O. N. Missions

9. What Are R.E.C.O.N. Missions?  (R)eaching (E)very (C)orner (O)of your (N)eighborhood.  We will KNOW the Spiritual Pulse of every person in every neighborhood for which we have a member of “FBC.”  From these “Missions” we will develop our ministry outreach to families through Care Groups!  This will occur monthly - In person or by phone.

11. What Is Get Real! Outreach Event? Weekly ministry to those with spiritual needs. User friendly: Plan around your schedule. Lets people know we REALLY care. Provides opportunity for you to build relationships / friendships that last a life-time.

13. What Is Get Real! Equipping?  We will meet on a weekly basis, for those interested in additional learning at a designated location (home/I-net or coffee shop), in order to equip all willing individuals with the tools necessary to impact our culture in a relative fashion.  This is also provided via (FB) Facebook and email, if you so choose. This allows you to benefit from our equipping at your pace.

14. Oikos Home Groups

15. What Are Oikos Home Groups?  Our weekly home meetings are what we call our Fellowship Times. We will gather in the homes of one another for a relaxing time, and enjoy our friendships.  The gathering will be to discuss the 15 min. Weekly Devotion Download and explore avenues in which we can apply them to our lives. Don’t be surprised if a “good time” for all breaks out regularly.  The goal is for everyone to bring an unchurched friend with them to keep our focus on others.  A pot-luck, cook-out, or dessert will always accompany the HWB Fellowships.

What Are BLOC Parties?  Once a month cook-outs in an area where one of our members live, or, an area we are trying to reach.  Like an “open house” with food and fun!  A way for us to gain visibility in our neighborhoods.  Your neighbors will see that Christians aren’t really “weird.”  A chance for you to actually get to know every person on your street/neighborhood.

21. What About How We’ll Meet? -We Invest in People!- Act 20:20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house. (Our Goal is the get the message outside the four walls of a building and take it to where we live as much as possible. That’s where we will impact lives in a REAL WAY!)

25. Snapshot of our First year!  Get Real! Praise: We will meet every Sunday for praise, encouragement and to recharge our spiritual batteries.  Get Real! Oikos Groups: We will meet weekly for a cook out our pot- luck fellowship on a Sunday Night & watch the 15 min. Weekly Download and discussion guide. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend with them each time we meet.  Get Real! Outreach: We will strive to personally touch the lives of others weekly.  Get Real! Equipping: The ministry of V2T is available for anyone at anytime online. It is also available one on one.

27. Possibilities In Only 5 Years!  Okay… we start with 10 committed individuals to God’s plan of reaching others for His kingdom. At the start of the year we have 30.
