Cynthia and Mariana are kayaking down a river. Cynthia kayaks a distance of 7/10 mile, and Mariana kayaks ¾ mile. Who kayaked the greater distance?

Find the LCD of the fractions. Use the LCD to write equivalent fractions. Compare the numerators.
