2  Your life’s purpose?  Your life is not your own I Corinthians 6:21  You are precious to God  Your life has a divine purpose and calling- Matthew 4:19

3  Let’s go back  Let’s settle  Let’s be safe  A sense of “unforgivable” personal failure

4  You are a failure  You are weak  Jesus will never use you  Jesus’ promises can’t be trusted  “Follow the leader”

5  Great effort  Fished all night  No fruit! John 15:5

6  A life changing call II Corinthians 5:17  A radical call on our lives Matthew 16:24-26  We prefer a “safe” “controllable” Jesus

7  We don’t recognize Him- v. 4  Too much noise- Psalm 46:10  Too busy- Luke 10:40,41  Too worried- Philippians 4:6,7  Our hearts are divided-I John 2:15

8  No condemnation- Romans 8:1  Tenderly- Come home children- v.5  A heart check- How are we doing?

9  Cast the net!- v.6  Trusting obedience- John 15:9  Obeying when it makes no sense!

10  Huge amount of fish  Very large fish –v.6  153 fish  They knew- v.7,12  It’s the Lord!

11 Come and eat!
