What is Solar Energy? Solar Energy is radiant light and heat from the sun. It comes from the sun itself. It’s formed by the sun generating a nuclear fusion. And then the sun gets hot that causes hydrogen atoms to come apart and their nuclei to fuse or combine.
3
Is Solar Energy Renewable or Non- Renewable? Solar Energy is a Renewable source. It’s a Renewable source because the Sun is a original source, that provides the constant replenishment of resources needed to continue.
4
How is Solar Energy used to make Electrical Energy? Solar Energy is collected through photovoltaic cells, typically made of silicon that acts as a semiconductor. The sun's rays contain heat and radiation. When the rays hit the surface of the silicon cells, they cause a release of electrons that roam freely.

4 disadvantages of Solar Energy 1. Unreliable 2. Few areas suitable 3. Low power energy source4.Toxic chemicals in solar cells can damage habitats.
