3 Meet Tamra Dugan Tamra Dugan comes to NEOnet after spending 13 years in collegiate and school libraries, including CWRU, Copley and Twinsburg. She has a strong cataloging background and extensive hands-on experience with day to day library operation. In her free time, Tamra enjoys spending time with her husband, Sam, daughter, Alexis and large extended family, numerous crafting projects, and being the organizational brains behind the scenes of a local high school show choir

6 Logging in The system uses NEOnet's active directory system to know who you are and what district you are coming from User Name = neonetda\ (Same user name as Email, Progress Book, DASL or USASDW) Example = neonetda\ne_mjackson Note the slash that follows NEONETDA is the one that leans to the left (above the Enter key) Password = Same password as Email, Progress Book, DASL or USASDW

9 NEOnet Purchased Electronic Resources Budget for next year includes $1 towards electronic resource for HS and MS students NEOnet Board meets May 4 th to approve the budget Use the OHIONET electronic resource preview to locate a resource for your building

10 LSTA Open Grant Program The State Library has announced a new grant program. The open grant program provides small awards, up to $4,999 in federal funds, allowing libraries to address a specific customer need or to develop an innovative service. There is no deadline for submitting an application. Applications will be reviewed and funded as they are received. The State Library has allocated $150,000 in CY 2015 for this program. 12 INFOhio Electronic Resources You are logged in as… NEOnet has a range a IP addresses for each school district INFOhio now has that list When in your building, you should now see “You are logged in as

13 Future of WorkFlows Testing on 3.5 Upgrade over the summer to 3.5 Need to be on 3.5 before can test BlueCloud BlueCloud and JavaWorkflows can both be run at the same time Switching between buildings is easier

14 Overdue notice report update Changed report header from OVERDUES / FINES / FEES to LIBRARY NOTIFICATION

15 Emailing Overdues With the overdue report wording, emailing overdues is not as confusing You can setup a report as a reminder of items coming due

16 Digital Video Collection (DVC) When downloading there used to be multiple formats available But, not all formats were available for all videos To simplify, all DVC downloads are now in MP4 format

17 EBSCO user passwords 17 EBSCO has introduced changes to My EBSCOhost folder accounts This is for new accounts The change does not affect existing My EBSCOhost accounts EBSCO has not published the requirements for the passwords, INFOhio believes it includes a lowercase letter, an upper case letter, a special character, and a number

18 Blizzard Bags 18 While we're hoping for only light snow this winter, we're helping you prepare for the worst with INFOhio's Blizzard Bags for K-12. 21 iSearch INFOhio will soon have an update that will allow iSearch users to filter results to full text articles as a default setting
