Attend Your Junior Status Conference with your counselor. Each Junior family should have received a letter in the mail with a designated appointment time for you. **If you do not know the appointment time for your Junior Status Conference please see Mrs. Stromie in the counseling office.** Identify Sources of college and career information. Begin to build a preliminary list of potential colleges. 2. .  Begin to create a college/scholarship resume.  Keep a list of extracurricular activities that you have participated in (i.e. sports, clubs, special classes, camps, religious activities, and community/volunteer services. Begin scheduling college visits. School breaks are optimal but Juniors are allowed 4 excused absences for college visits. A campus visit is the best way to evaluate whether a school is right for you! Get to know your teachers & counselors. These are the people who will be writing your letters of recommendation. Make of list of those you might ask to recommend you!
